based on USPA's Skydiver's Information Manual (SIM),
and The Integrated Student Program (ISP)


Ground Prep
Pre-jump equipment check for self and others
Calculate the spot, discuss pilot/jump communications
Student plans an effective break-off
Student choose the exit
Student and Instructor dirt dive
Student plans a safe and logical landing pattern and descent strategy


In flight
Student response to instructor's questions and prompts
Student checks and confirms the spot


Exit and FreeFall
(Instructor video if possible)

Student exits, stables up and performs maneuvers as planned:
360 degree turn to right
360 degree turn to left
Back loop
Instructor moves to 20 feet from student and level
Student docks on instructor
Student initiates breakoff at planned altitude
Student tracks for at least 100 feet
Student waves off (looking up, down and around)
Student pulls by 3,000 feet


Canopy
Student (wearing a radio)
flies the planned descent strategy
and landing pattern with no radio contact and
lands within 20 meters of the planned target.


Equipment
Student packs the parachute unassisted.


Debrief
Student completes log and verbalizes a debrief
with instructor instructor reviews
jump and indicates result
