IAD Program
Instructor-Assisted Deployment Method
based on the USPA Skydiver's Information Manual, and
the USPA Integrated Student Program
This method is preceded by the four- to six-hour First Jump Course: $125
Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) training involves the concentration on exit and canopy skills for the first seven skydives, with increasing amounts of freefall, incorporating solo deployments along the way. It involves one IAD instructor throughout the training. Exits are made between the altitudes of 3,500 feet and 10,000 feet, as the training progresses,
IAD is considered less intensive than AFF, and generally costs $1000 and $1200. Jump costs are $85 and $95 (at 6,000 feet and up).
IAD training is followed by Phase Two -- IAD, approximately 10 skydives -- (with instructional rating holders) which generally costs between $900 and $1100.
Phase One = minimum of fifteen skydives with a UPSA IAD Instructor
Phase Two = minimum of 10 skydives with a USPA instructional rating holder
An A-license "Check Dive" is requried prior to license issuing: $125
