The USPA Integrated Student Program
Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) training involves the combination of exit, free fall, deployment, and canopy in every skydive, in addition to the other standard categories of ISP training. It involves two USPA AFF instructors on at least the first three skydives, and all exits are made between 9,000 feet and 15,000 feet. In Category C the student shifts to one USPA AFF instructor until Category E-3 when any instructional rating holder (including coaches) may jump with the student.
This method is preceded by the four- to six-hour First Jump Course: $125
AFF is considered intensive training and generally costs between $1670 and $2,000. Jump prices are either $195 (two USPA AFF instructors) or $165 (one USPA AFF instructor).
AFF training is followed by Phase Two AFF (with instructional rating holders) which generally costs between $1000 and $1200.
Phase One = minimum of eight skydives with USPA AFF Instructors
Phase Two = minimum of 17 skydives with a USPA instructional rating holder
