Serene Figueroa Joins Legend
For Summer Work / Study

June 20, 2000 MARBLEHEAD, MA -- A native Mainer, Serene Figueroa begins her advertising career with a full-credit internship at Legend Advertising in Marblehead, Massachusetts as the Creative Director's assistant over the summer of 2000. This Dean's-list senior joins Legend while currently studying communication and advertising at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, New Hampshire. Advertising creativity has been a lifelong passion of Serene's and she hopes to further develop her skills while interning with Legend. To compliment her advanced curriculum in advertising and mass communication, Serene's internship will concentrate on client communication, media planning and creative production while with Legend over the summer break.  The
creative activities at Legend Advertising are very busy and her
help will be needed. Serene is assisting with web design and
internet special effects plus conceptualizing different advertising
campaigns that Legend is compiling for various clients and corporations
throughout New England and along the East Coast.Legend, Inc. is a high-quality, creatively renowned agency with a diverse and growing client roster. Ms. Figueroa offers a fresh outlook which has already been helpful in creating logo design animations, media evaluation and placements and many other areas of activities. New concepts developing in the modern workplace in conjunction with what college students are learning today will enhance her college studies, while assisting Legend clients. Serene enjoys learning workplace skills while applying her academic knowledge. Interning is an important step towards enhancing and widening college students' preconceived notions of what the "real world" is relative to the workplace.
